Les Nupar (Jul 2017)

Les Nupar’s canopy is like the Sunderbans

While Ubh-Suhk is the falling shadow

Of darkness that falls like  Niagara and flows

Like the Ganges...

Patiently down to her heels

While adding length and longevity

To the cherry blossom hued kingdom...

The shadow reigns,

An essence of  femininity

The red fabric which it reigns

And the fiery tilak a symbol of power

This poem captures the image of a girl with very long tresses, I saw at the Library. They went down to her heels.  It was 'muse-ical' making her the very causality of this poem.
